Cyril and Methodius
In 9th century, Europe is stirred by a conflict between Western Frankish Empire and Eastern Byzantine Empire. Spiritual Constantine together with his strong-minded brother Methodius from Thessaloniki involuntarily enter this battle of power by arriving at the Great Moravia for a mission of Christianity. Their devoted beliefs, wisdom and humility is shaken by political intrigues and greedy ambitions of the leaders. In their struggle for peaceful answer to European power disposition we find important conjunction with the present issues.
