Handel’s Last Chance
Dublin, 1741. James, a Dublin street kid is signed up to a school for rich children. Being very poor and miserable he has to deal with snobbish boys in his class and his frustrations grow stronger. he meets the German composer Georg Fridrich Handel who is, too, apprehensive about the future. Handel and James come to an understanding about the calm courage it takes to face whatever comes. they strike their own deal: Handel will teach him musical notation if Jamie stays in school instead of turning tail and running away.
